AWS certified CWI technicians needed for large Construction Materials Testing/Geotechnical Engineering firm in the DC/Northern Virginia area. Duties include inspection and testing of structural steel during erection on general building job sites and transportation projects throughout the area, as well as plant inspections. Experience with general construction, structural steel erection and knowledge of AWS and AISC specifications required. ICC, PTI, NICET, NCDOT, ACI, UT, MT, RT, PT certifications a plus. Minimal travel outside the area. These are full-time positions. Most job sites are local to the greater DC/Northern VA area, and for local projects no per diem will be paid. In the event you are called upon to travel for a project, per diem will apply. Mileage reimbursed at $0.50/mile. Pre-employment drug screening and drivers licence verification required.

• AWS CWI Certification and UT Level II certifications required.
